I really like how these brushes apply makeup. I use the flat kabuki for foundation and setting powder, and the rounded brush for blush. I'm going to try the slanted brush for contouring. What I really appreciate is the set was listed as sold out, but when I contacted the site to see when they'd be back in, Julie filled the order for me. I received them quickly too. Excellent customer service and good quality brushes.

No not at all. The bristles are synthetic with means they are hypoallergenic and are less likely to harbor bacteria.
Yes they are. All of the bristles used in our makeup brushes are synthetic.
All the brushes in the set can offer a full or sheer coverage as it depends on the amount of product you begin with. It's best to build any makeup application. If you start with too much product on your face or brush, you'll end up having to remove the excess product which is not easily done. Start with a small amount of product and build until you achieve your desired finish.
